Scope and Provider

PourNote is an independent app developed and operated by Qin Cao (sole developer), contact caoqin.dev@gmail.com. By downloading, accessing, or using PourNote or the pournote.cc website, you agree to these Supplemental Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA for the app itself. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

• PourNote is a personal drink journal for logging drinks, notes, photos, spending, themes, insights, widgets, and share cards.
• PourNote is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.
• If any translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.

Apple Standard EULA Governs the App

The license for the PourNote iOS app itself is Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. PourNote does not impose a custom EULA. These Supplemental Terms add only what Apple's EULA does not cover: the website, support, and the commercial details of subscriptions.

• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the app license for App Store downloads and may enforce that license against you.
• If anything in these Supplemental Terms conflicts with Apple's Standard EULA as to the licensed app itself, Apple's Standard EULA controls for that license issue.

PourNote Pro Subscriptions

PourNote can be downloaded for free. PourNote Pro is an optional paid auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Two plans are offered:

• PourNote Pro Monthly — 1 month auto-renewing subscription.
• PourNote Pro Yearly — 1 year auto-renewing subscription.
• The exact price, billing period, and currency are displayed in the in-app subscription screen and in the Apple App Store purchase sheet before you confirm purchase. Prices may vary by App Store region, and Apple may adjust currency conversions.
• PourNote Pro may unlock advanced trend insights, premium report styles, yearly summary cards, milestone share cards, Pro themes, and other paid features where available.
• Core logging, basic insights, widgets, and basic sharing remain available without a Pro subscription.

Auto-Renewal Terms

PourNote Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple to your Apple ID. The following terms apply to every plan:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
• Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.

Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

All payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, payment disputes, and Family Sharing eligibility are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. PourNote does not process payments and cannot issue refunds directly.

• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account or App Store subscription settings.
• Deleting PourNote does not automatically cancel a subscription.
• If you cancel, Pro access normally continues until the end of the paid period.
• Use the in-app Restore Purchases option to ask Apple and RevenueCat to refresh your subscription status.

Feature Availability

We may add, change, rename, or remove features over time. Pro benefits may vary by app version, platform, locale, App Store availability, subscription status, and technical limitations.

• Screenshots, marketing copy, and preview text may show examples rather than a guarantee that every feature is available to every user.
• If a feature requires a current Pro entitlement, access may stop if the subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, or cannot be verified.

Privacy and Local Data

PourNote is designed as a local-first app. Drink entries, photos, notes, and spending details are stored on your device unless you choose to share or export them. The full Privacy Policy is available at https://pournote.cc/en/privacy.

• PourNote does not require an account to start using the app.
• Because we do not keep a server copy of your entries, we cannot restore entries that were deleted or removed from a device without a backup.
• Subscription status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat; drink entries, photos, notes, and spending details are never sent to RevenueCat.

Responsible Use and No Medical Advice

PourNote is a journaling and personal reflection tool. It does not encourage alcohol use, unsafe behavior, illegal activity, or drinking beyond your limits.

• Do not use PourNote to make medical, health, legal, driving, or safety decisions.
• Statistics, streaks, spending totals, and insights are informational only and may be incomplete or inaccurate if your entries are incomplete or inaccurate.
• If you have health questions about alcohol use, seek advice from a qualified professional.

Your Content and Sharing

You are responsible for the entries, notes, photos, and share cards you create with PourNote. You keep ownership of your content, subject to any rights you grant when you share it outside the app.

• Only attach or share photos and text you have the right to use.
• Do not share private, sensitive, or identifying information about other people without appropriate permission.
• Once you share or export content outside PourNote, that external service or recipient may handle it under their own terms and policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse PourNote, the website, support channels, or any related services.

• Do not attempt to bypass subscription checks, reverse engineer the app except where law allows, interfere with service operation, or use PourNote for unlawful purposes.
• Do not submit abusive, fraudulent, infringing, or harmful support requests or content.
• Do not use PourNote in a way that violates Apple's rules, applicable law, or the rights of others.

Intellectual Property

PourNote, the PourNote name, app design, website design, icons, interface, text, and related materials are owned by Qin Cao or his licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• These Supplemental Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
• You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from PourNote or its materials except as permitted by law or by written permission.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

PourNote and the pournote.cc website are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

• We do not guarantee that the app or website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that local data will always remain recoverable.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qin Cao will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or subscription-related losses handled by Apple.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Supplemental Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes should first be raised by email to caoqin.dev@gmail.com so we can try to resolve them informally before any formal action. This clause does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

Changes and Contact

We may update these Supplemental Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of PourNote or the website after changes become effective means you accept the updated Supplemental Terms.
